AIA New York Chapter Award

The Brooklyn Library Annex has been recognized by the AIA New York Chapter with an Award for Excellence in Public Architecture. The project was cited for its welcoming design and its contribution to the revitalization of the neighborhood.

The annex provides much-needed space for community programs, including literacy classes, job training workshops, and after-school activities. Its open, light-filled interior is designed to be a welcoming living room for the community.
